Beta Build and Final Playtest
Using the playtest feedback gathered after the alpha playtest we were able to fix the bug in the clock puzzle and add it into the beta build. We were able to have all three puzzles in working order and have the majority of the finished game art for the build and final playtest. For the final playtest of the game we had some family and friends play the game and fill out the same forms as the first formal playtesters. This feedback will be used to edit the final build of the game to make sure that it works properly and has no bugs.
There are a few things that need to be fixed or added for the final build after the beta playtests. The movement mechanics still contain a few bugs that are proving quite difficult to fix but we'll get there! There's still some design elements that still has to be added to a few of the levels, some lighting, effects and some of the last few pieces of art have to go in. The sound effects have to be added too.
There were also a few bugs with the menu screen that will need to be fixed up for the final submission but nothing major. A lot of the things brought up by the first playtesters were fixed and improved for this playtest and the new players didn't experience these issues.
Now we just have to fix the last few things and finish it off for the final submission!
